In the dark winter, lock down days of 2021 I was out for a walk in Port Credit and ran into fellow musician Alexander Quail I asked him what he was uptown creatively and he said he was working on some loop based music, I proposed a collaboration and he sent me a cool groove. I added some words and melodies and Tom Lewis wrote a dark moody bass line. Cruel World was born. Tomorrow we will release that original synth wave/dark wave version as well as a remix created by Chris Mcneill and some of our favourite musicians (Russell Gray & Gordon Deppe). We’re excited to finally have the song out in the world, on Jan 20, Blue Monday.
